Guide - How to Use INCI4ME

1. 1. Image Upload

To start, upload an image containing the list of product ingredients. Supported formats include any image (.jpg, .png, etc.).

2. 2. Ingredient Search Modes

You can choose between two modes for searching ingredients:

  • Search by Image: Extracts ingredients directly from an image using OCR (Optical Character Recognition). You can zoom in to better navigate the ingredient list.
  • Manual Search: Manually enter the ingredients separated by commas or new lines.

3. 3. How the Image Search Mode Works

When selecting the image search mode, you can upload an image containing a list of ingredients. The extraction will occur via OCR, which identifies and recognizes text in the image.

4. 4. Upload a New Image

If you want to upload a new image for processing, you can do so by clicking the **"Upload Image"** button. The image will be updated automatically, and processing will start. To upload a random image, you can use the **"Random Image"** button to load a predefined image.

5. 5. Manual Ingredient Search

If you prefer to manually enter the ingredients, you can do so in the **"Ingredient List"** section. Each ingredient should be separated by a comma or a new line. Once the list is entered, click **"Process"** to start the analysis.

6. 6. Selectable Search Modes

You can select only one search mode at a time: either by image or manually. When one mode is selected, the other will be disabled.

7. 7. How to Process the INCI

Once the image is uploaded or the ingredient list is entered, click the **"Process"** button to start the analysis. The system will extract and analyze the ingredients, and then display the results in the **"INCI Results"** section.

8. 8. Image Gallery (Enterprise users only)

With the **ENTERPRISE** plan, you can upload and manage up to 10 images in the Gallery. These images are stored and can be accessed in the future. If the upload limit is reached, uploading will be disabled until you remove some images from the gallery.

9. 9. Plan Management and Remaining Products

With the **ENTERPRISE** plan, you can perform unlimited INCI checks. With the **PROFESSIONAL** plan, products are limited to 30 per month. With the **STARTER** plan, products are limited to 10 per month. If you do not have an active subscription, access is limited to Random and featured products only. Make sure you have an active plan to access all features.

10. 10. INCI Results and Analysis

Once the ingredient list is processed, the system will provide a full analysis, including allergens, restricted ingredients, and the bio-quality score of the ingredients. The results will be displayed in a graph for easier understanding.
